What You’ll Be Doing:
- Market & Insurer Relations: Build and maintain long-standing insurer partnerships; negotiate competitive terms.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure accuracy and quality across all commercial placements.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a broking team of 8.
- Governance & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards in line with FCA regulations.
- Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the firm’s growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Directors, Compliance, Finance, and Broking teams.
What You’ll Bring:
- CII qualified (DipCII or ACII preferred)
- Strong track record in UK & ideally international commercial insurance
- Deep knowledge of Property Owners, Commercial Combined, and broader commercial lines
- Broking background essential – client-first mindset with insurer negotiation skills
- Leadership ability – a natural communicator, influencer, and motivator
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and technical depth
