Business Development Executive - Brighton

My client, a Brighton based award winning Digital Marketing Agency is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive who naturally excels at hunting, pitching and closing new client accounts over the phone. Coming with strong sales experience gained in a digital agency setting OR SaaS / technology based you will be looking for the next opportunity to propel your career selling digital marketing services to a global client base.

The Role:

You will enjoy spending time hunting new business, pitching and closing new business; using the clients near-limitless in-house qualified lead-gen service, plus a blend of direct outreach and self-generated opportunities. This will also include leveraging your own network from relevant sectors, social media outreach and even good old-fashioned phone calls. Once signed you pass all accounts to the Client Services Team for ongoing account management.

You will report to the Sales Director and join a team of 5 BDE’s.

Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Telephone based B2B business development / new sales experience
  • B2B Sales experience gained in a digital marketing agency OR SaaS, technology, media agency
  • Strong experience in end to end selling - guiding senior stakeholders confidently
  • Proven experience with pitching, proposing and closing sales over the phone
  • A natural consultative approach
  • Ability to run a well organised pipeline
  • Strong understanding of CRM system usage
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Goal driven, not process driven

Package:

  • A basic salary of £30k + uncapped commission (potential to double your basic)
