We're partnering with a leading global investment firm to recruit an Associate for its Private Wealth Capital Solutions team in New York.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Investment Product Sales professional with experience working with financial advisors, private banks, wirehouses, RIAs, or independent broker-dealers who is looking to build a career within one of the world's leading alternative investment platforms.

The Opportunity

You'll support senior Client Coverage professionals across an assigned U.S. territory, helping deepen relationships with financial advisors while driving fundraising across a range of private market investment strategies including:

  • Growth Equity
  • Climate
  • Infrastructure
  • Credit

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, collaborate across investment and distribution teams, and play an integral role in expanding the firm's private wealth business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and develop relationships with financial advisors across private banks, wirehouses, RIAs and independent broker-dealers.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities through outbound sales activity.
  • Support regional client coverage teams in managing advisor relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional follow-up and client service following meetings and presentations.
  • Become a trusted resource by developing deep knowledge of the firm's private market investment strategies and fund structures.
  • Coordinate advisor events, webinars, roadshows and educational initiatives.
  • Work alongside senior professionals to strengthen existing relationships and win new business.

 

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience selling investment products to financial advisors.
  • Experience covering private banks, wirehouses, RIAs or independent broker-dealers.
  • Knowledge of alternative investments or private markets would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with a genuine passion for business development.
  • Progress towards the CFA or CAIA qualification is a plus but not essential.
