Construction Trainee - Godstone

Entry Level / College Leaver / Apprentice Level Opportunity: Our inspiring local construction client have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic trainee engineer to join their team. You will shadow a senior to become responsible for the first-rate fitting of blinds, shading and acoustic solutions they guarantee on their varied high-end commercial projects.

Ideally you will have already gained some basic experience on a construction site or you will have studied a construction related subject at college, but more importantly you will be somebody who is determined, motivated, practical, enjoys absorbing technical detail and insists on delivering their best. You should also recognise and be excited about joining a company that has proven success and commitment to training and developing their people.   

Ideally you will hold a full UK driving licence, if so, you would arrive at Head Office in Godstone at 6.30am and you would travel to sites with the Senior Engineer from Head Office in a company van. If you do not hold a driving licence there may be an option for a Senior Engineer to collect you from home on route to site depending on your location.

• Basic Salary 18k to 22k depending on experience

Role will typically include:

• Assisting / carrying out blinds, shading and acoustic installations onsite
• Work with other members of the team to ensure timely and effective project completion
• Carry out general workshop duties and assist in the warehouse as required
• Maintain a company vehicle, keeping it clean and presentable
• Assist / carry out works across London
