Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Employee lifecycle (recruitment, contracts, offer letters, employee queries & requests, flexible working requests, leaver letters, contract variations)
  • Employee relations (Advising and leading on disciplinary, grievances & investigations & compiling all necessary documentation)
  • Project work (IIP- currently silver accredited, employee benefits, & any other HR projects as advised)
  • Policies and procedures (Employee handbook update every quarter, ensuring all policies and up to date with employment law)
  • Reporting (on employee attendance levels, tracking starters & leavers, annual leave usage, workforce analysis)

Ideal Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD qualification (ideally Level 5) OR recent HR Graduate.
  • Ambitious and looking to develop your HR career.
  • Demonstrates resolve and confidence when reaching a judgement.
  • Always seeks innovative ways of working.
  • Is approachable, with an effective communication style with all stakeholders.
  • Maintains a good knowledge of employment law and legislative updates.
  • Driving licence required (occasional regional travel)
