An Investment Assistant is sought to support the Portfolio Manager and small team of this bespoke investment business in Oxted.

This is an unrivalled opportunity to join a highly regarded team of professionals who specialise in delivering a first-class service to their clients.  It will suit an individual with equally high standards who is looking to fully immerse themselves into the operations and add real value through internal and client support.

You will assist in all aspects of the day-to-day management of portfolios for private clients, pensions, trusts, companies and charities ensuring the smooth running of the back office.

The package for the Portfolio Assistant will include:

  • Basic salary up to 30k per annum depending on experience.

  • Office based in Oxted, Parking, Pension, Healthcare, 25 days holiday, M to F 8.30am-5.30pm.

  • Relevant experience working in a busy office.
  • Innate attention to detail.

  • Robust time management, confident delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Thirst for learning, including new systems and software.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

Daily Duties for the Portfolio Assistant will typically include:

  • Undertake trade transactions.
  • Instruct the movement of cash.
  • Management of meeting room booking, set up and maintenance.
  • Administer new client onboarding.
  • Preparing reports, presentations and correspondence for clients and prospects.
  • Liaising with investment and platform providers.
  • Handling client queries, including sitting in on client meetings as required.
  • Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems.
  • Supporting the research into new investments and evaluating existing holdings.
  • Data entry, managing databases and filing systems.
  • Ensuring compliance.
