Senior Health and Safety Consultant - Croydon

A resourceful, experienced and passionate Health & Safety professional is sought to join the Construction Division of this highly agile Health & Safety Consultancy, who specialise in delivering first class consulting services.

Having a progressive approach and unique proprietary software, they are now looking for an exceptional individual to deliver Health and Safety solutions to Principal Contractors and Contractors with a range of risk profiles.

• Basic salary 40k to 50k per annum

Location: Head Office is in Croydon, however, majority of your time will be spent in and around London on client sites.

Activities will usually include:

• Being the lead consultant for a select number of company accounts and managing the relationships with the management team
• Learning about the Clients’ H&S challenges and using initiative and experience to shape pragmatic solutions that fit with their individual needs, culture, environment, and expectations.
• Executing Client work deliverables over a wide range of Construction H&S related products. E.g., Inspection delivery, Production of key Construction related H&S documentation , provision of competent construction H&S advice, writing policies, writing and reviewing risk Assessments, writing and reviewing method statements, preparing and delivering H&S training, preparing and leading H&S meetings, completing incident investigations

Health & Safety Essentials:

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Diploma OR NCRQ Diploma in Applied H&S & GradIOSH

OR

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NCRQ AIM Awards Level 6 Certificate in Applied H&S & TechIOSH 
• Driving license

Skills:

• Relevant experience in a similar consultancy role with a Construction bias
• Extensive knowledge of H&S legislation and its pragmatic application
• Strong influencing, communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient using MS Office
