Software Support Engineer - Bromley

Basic Salary 45k + Bonus + Hybrid Working

Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Support the team with new software rollouts remotely.
  • To gain a deep understanding of bespoke products to provide technical support remotely.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients.
  • Create and contribute to the documentation of standardised processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to strategize and execute comprehensive quality assurance and testing plans.
  • Assist in the coordination of testing cycles, deployment phases, and product releases while meticulously documenting discovered issues and bugs.
  • Play a vital role in the QA process throughout the software development life cycle.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant technical support, customer support, or IT related work experience. 
  • Demonstratable knowledge of basic software engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A natural problem solver.
  • Keen attention to detail and driven by quality.
  • Comfortable with paid overseas travel (3 European trips (2-3 days each) in first 12 months) .

Ideal Experience:

  • A basic understanding of C# or .NET or other languages.
  • Any experience gained in software testing or development.
